Wild Oak Llamas is now home of two 2008 National Grand Champions
WOW! What a time we had at the 2008 ALSA Grand Nationals out in Lincoln, Nebraska!! Not just one...but two of our llamas won Grand Championships!!
Our Heylee is on a real winning streak! She won the LFA Futurity in Sept. and then went on to win back-to-back Grand Champion at the Harvest Fair and the Southwestern Regional in Santa Rosa, CA. the first weekend of October. Now she also can add to her list of wins 2008 ALSA National Grand Champion Suri Female. Her full brother Hidalgo, owned by Cheryl Russell of Tai Chi Llamas in Redmond, Oregon, also has a great winning streak with Grand Champion at the LFA Fall Show and the Northwestern Regional Show and to top it all off won the 2008 ALSA National Grand Champion Suri Male. Heylee is only a yearling and still has a show career ahead of her in 2009. Keep your eyes on this girl.....
And to top off the day, our beloved PAPUCHO won the 2008 ALSA National Grand Champion Non-Breeder! Talk about walking on air... it may take months to get our feet back on the ground after all that..
