C K SMOKEY DOB 6/17/2011 / ILR 282350/ ALSA 19243 (Carvel X Cleocatra)
Just look what Cleocatra and Carvel produced! This boy is something else. Talk about big, strong and stretchy...that's CK Smokey. He got his name because we were away from the ranch when he was born and Rick's bother Karl and his wife Carol where home to take care of things. The "C" is for Carol and the "K" is for Karl and "Smokey" is because of the smokey grey of his face. This fellow is one of the most active cria we have ever had. In fact, when Karl and Carol went out to check on Cleocatra's progress they discovered CK running around the corral as if he were several days old, not just delivered within the hour. He gains about a pound a day and continues to amaze us all. It will be fun to see him develop into the "man" we know he will become.
