Sahalia is one very special llama. She has that wonderful Argentine bone and wool coverage as well as personality plus. She is an awesome mother and has given us some wonderful cria. We were fortunate enough to purchase her first cria Papucho which was from a breeding that LC Llamas did with El Fuente at Hinterland. When we purchased Sahalia from Leila and Larry Crumrine, she had been breed to Mystic Man and had a beautiful black and white female which we named Sahalia's Demetria who we later sold at the first Cascade Sale in Oregon to some wonderful folks in Canada. Her next cria were WOL Maximus, WOL Tundra and WOL Ponyo. We were excited about her next cria after being bred to Alluro. Apparently she absorbed that pregnancy without us knowing it. When she was 8 days over her due date, we field tested her with Santiago and she went down like a rock! Damn.....We may have lost one year but look at it as giving Sahalia a year off...tee hee Sahalia is one of our best producer and hasn't let us down once! This breeding to Santiago will be another grand slam for sure!
This female was Larry Crumrine's favorite female and we can see why. She is the Grand Dam of our herd and just has such great presence when you look at her down in the pasture. She always produces incredible offspring and we always look forward to her next addition to the herd.
