Females for Sale
Our herd has grown so much and we must consider the size of our property and the number of llamas we are putting on it.

With great difficulty we have reviewed our entire herd and with regret need to put some of our special females up for sale.  A few of them will be offered with a cria at side.  Our loss will be your gain.  These are wonderful mothers, good milkers and would be a great addition to any herd.

WOL  LUCIANNI'S  SATIN
DOB  10/14/2008 /  ILR  275309  /  ALSA  Pending
(Kobra's Lucky Lucianni  X   WLK  French Sylk)

This is one special little girl.  She was born while we were back in Nebraska attending the ALSA Grand Nationals.  Fortunately, Rick's brother Karl and his wife Carol have moved up to our ranch and now live in the little guest house.  They have been a true blessing for both us and our critters!  They did a fantastic job getting this little girl cleaned up and ready for life!  They even named her.  Since the Mother is Sylk which is a type of fabric, Carol and Karl felt that Satin would be a good name .  We agree full heartedly.

Satin is very different from any of our other cria.  Her wool is an incredible golden brown and black "marbled" look, I wish we could capture it in the pictures.
Her mother is a Starbuck's daughter so we were hoping for a suri type fiber.  We are not sure what type of fiber Satin has.  We look forward to her growing and developing into something awesome.

MV  ICELANDIA
DOB 10/02/04  / ILR 260742 / ALSA 15092
(White Heat's Double Trouble X  GLL Albatross)

This is a beautiful female and comes from great bloodlines on both sides. Her fiber is incredible.  Every year  we have a "Clipper Party" at our ranch to teach folks how to shear their llamas for the hot weather and for the showring.  I use Icelandia as one of the instructor's subjects and I have spinners fighting over who gets her fiber.  Ice, when she is clean, has the whitest of white wool and it is as soft as a baby's ....you know what... to the touch. She has given us two wonderful female cria and is a great mother.  Just look at her ears and conformation...beautiful.

WINS  CREAM  SUPREME
DOB 12/12/03  / ILR 253461/  ALSA 12118
(PPF Moon Doggie  X Flutter Bye Blush)

Creamy is the sweeties girl in the pasture and comes to greet you every time with a kiss.  She has produced two awesome cria for us and is a wonderful mother and milker.  After having her first cria, WOL Mesha, we had another female die leaving a two month old cria without a mother.  Creamy was the only female with cria and milk that would take over this orphan cria.  She let them both nurse at the same time and we are sure she is the reason little Walker turned out to be so healthy and a real delight to his new owners. Creamy is currently "open" ( not currently bred or with cria at side).  She can be sold "open" our breed to one of our herdsires of your choosing.
