CATHY SPALDING - We call her the "Llama Whisperer"
MARK YOUR CALENDAR
NOW!
For July 18th & 19th, 2009
Cathy Spalding
Gentle Spirit Behavior & Training
2-Day Clinic
Held here at Wild Oak Llamas
12187 Dogwood Road, Grass Valley,
CA 95945

Our Llamas & Alpacas are "Talking" to us all the time.
Let Cathy help us to understand what they are saying!

Topics covered include additions and refinements to recognizing behavior as it relates to our training & herd management choices, positioning, leading, leading issues/ techniques, use of a confidence course using obstacles, starting babies, learning to tie, trailer load and group problem solving of difficult behavioral issues.  Includes actual "hands on" work by participants in these areas with alpacas or llamas.

Cathy Spalding says " Understanding Behavior is the key to training & herd management." She has been doing this since 1985 and it is incredible to watch and learn from her.  Check our testimonials page and read what a couple of folks said about the 2008 clinic held here at Wild Oak Llamas.

At the Clinic the focus is in problem solving through understanding camelid behavior. There are numerous possibilities for success in working through any situation. But where does one begin? By having an idea of what is presenting through an understanding of behavior, the path to solution more easily follows. In fact, each clinic flows through a number of challenging behavioral issues finding lasting resolution. These clinics focus on participants personally finding success in defining what seems to be at issue, forming a plan and working through very difficult and sometimes unusual behaviors.  Hands on is the best way to learn so plan on attending in July 2009 and be ready to have the time of your life and seeing your llamas in a completely different way.

Our 2009 "incentive program price":  $175 per person (Youth $75.00) for two full days of learning!
